Alfresco Blaze Outdoor Kitchen – Ring of Fire
One of the simplest outdoor kitchens we have worked on, yet so much to learn from it! This customer in Scarsdale, NY decided to build his outdoor island directly next to his indoor kitchen, so they were able to exclude many outdoor components. You won’t see a refrigerator, icemaker, power or side burner, warming drawer or multiple storage components. They opted to use an Alfresco 42″ grill, and in order to keep costs down, they used the Blaze 39″ door/drawer combo and a single Blaze trash drawer. Please note the photo which has the vents on the back of the island. This is an overlooked aspect to every island, and one that we strongly recommend should be included in your build. The vents will allow gas (that may be building up within the island) to disperse, thus preventing a potential combustion when igniting the grill. Safety first!
