In this outdoor kitchen the homeowner used a 42″ Alfresco grill, an Alfresco double side burner and a Kamado Joe Big Joe as their main cooking devices. Other pieces used are the Alfresco AGBC30 Versa Sink, the 42″ Alfresco dry storage pantry, Alfresco triple drawers and an Alfresco access door for the sink’s water line.
While this is a beautiful outdoor kitchen idea (they did a great job with the raised bar on the opposite side of the grill), I believe they should have created more space in the cooking area. Whenever we see plans for a u-shaped cooking area, we recommend creating at least 4ft between sides so there is breathing room. With this setup it would be challenging for another person to be in this cooking zone with the primary griller.
