This is another outdoor kitchen that features a Ring of Fire outdoor kitchen island. The customer opted to use our solution as he felt that building out of block would be too time consuming and expensive. The island is a traditional “L” shape, our most popular. The long side where the grill sits is 10 feet long and the return is 7 feet. Since the only countertop product is the 48″ DCS grill, the homeowner has ample countertop space.
The homeowner did want to clutter the countertop with various components so he opted to go with the largest non-sear zone grill, the DCS 48″ 7 Series.
Looking to squeeze value out of the undercounter components, he went with Blaze for the dual trash / recycle drawers, paper towel holder and underneath the grill he sued the Blaze 39″ door / drawer combo. While this is asymmetrical when placed under the 48″ grill and not commonly done, the homeowner could not justify spending $1799 on the DCS 48″ door / drawer system. For the refrigerator he used a Summit 24″ outdoor rated unit.
Customer used a granite countertop and real stone veneer.
The color scheme of the stone with the stainless and the patio floor. Beautiful!
I would have preferred to have the grill line up with the piece below it. It’s a 48″ grill over a 39″ door/drawer component.
