This outdoor kitchen consists of ROF outdoor islands (two of them), DCS grill, storage and refrigeration components, as well as a Gozney Dome pizza oven.
The customer opted to use the ROF outdoor island solution since the kitchen would be placed on a deck. The lightweight nature of ROF islands make them perfect solutions for jobs on decks.
The islands use Dekton countertops and are clad in Ipe wood. I can report that the homeowner waited nearly 8 months for the wood veneer to arrive, but, it was worth the wait judging by the final pictures. Ipe is a very popular choice for outdoor decking bc it is dense, resistant to fire and mildew and it expands / contracts less than other woods. Plus, it looks beautiful. Sourcing ipe was extremely difficult in 2020 and 21, but inventories are building again and prices have come down from their stratospheric heights.
In the first outdoor island the homeowner installed a 36” Series 9 DCS grill with 36” DCS drawer system under it. Moving to the right is a DCS double side burner and the DCS dual trash drawer.
To the far left he has the Gozney Dome bone colored pizza oven.
The other structure is a seated bar island that also serves as a wet bar. Moving from left to right they have a DCS double drawer refrigerator , DCS kegerator with dual tap system and drop in ice bucket.
The ipe wood looks incredible, especially in contrast with the Dekton countertop and the stainless grill pieces. Amazing job!
Space between the islands is a little shallow but we were working with a limited space on the deck so measurements needed to be exact.
