This recently completed outdoor kitchen in Westchester County, NY features two distinct islands which we built.

One island uses a high back bar with room for seating. The other side of the island acts as a prep area and a 24” Zephyr outdoor refrigerator.

The other island is used for cooking and features a 36” DCS grill, 36” DCS drawer system under grill, DCS trash drawer and a DCS double side burner with access door under it.

Both islands are positioned within a custom pergola.

What We Love About This Outdoor Kitchen

Ample prep space, seating at bar so the griller is not isolated from the party, great choice of stone veneer and countertop which match the outdoor furniture.

What We Would Change About This Outdoor Kitchen

We recommended that the bar island use more than just the single door refrigerator. There was talk about installing an icemaker in that island but the homeowner did want to contend with the upkeep and also wanted the refrigerator centered on the island without any other items next to it.
