Yes, you read the correctly. Not Panama City, Florida. Or Panama, Iowa.

This outdoor kitchen is located on the beach in PANAMA. Located on an oceanfront property, the homeowner sought simplicity, a great grill, and the ability to admire the blue expanse of water while working the grill. You also may notice a pool on lower level, just steps away from the grilling area. Living the dream!

This outdoor kitchen consists of:

• ROF outdoor kitchen
• DCS Double Side Burner
• DCS 36” Series Grill 
• DCS 36” Access Doors
• Coyote CPOC ice chest

The island is over 10 ft wide (there is an area to the left that is not pictured where he installed cabinetry).

He opted not to install refrigeration as his main kitchen is nearby. He also plans on using the Coyote CPOC ice drawer as a beverage center, keeping his favorite libations on ice in the chest.

Note how he integrated the island into the columns. We cut out back corners of island so they could fit seamlessly between the columns. Precise field measurements were needed!

The only red flag is that you must be mindful about prevailing winds blowing from the ocean and hitting the back of the grill when cooking. The strong ocean wind can push heat back into the grill firebox and cause issues for the ignitors, wiring and knobs. This island is somewhat perpendicular to the ocean so shouldn’t be a problem, but I did advise the homeowner to create a wind break behind the grill if possible.
